      The Fishburne Post Grad Basketball Staff is offering 2 weeks of basketball skill development camp for boys ages 7-14. These 4-Day camps are committed to the development of fundamental skills and technique enhancement. Campers will learn ball handling, rebounding, passing, court spacing, defensive skills, and team offense.

      The third annual Virginia Post Grad All Star Game is set for Wednesday, April 24, at Fishburne Military School in Waynesboro, Va. Top unsigned postgrad talents from across the country will take part in the game and the walkup to the big event, which includes a total of four team practice sessions beginning on Tuesday.

      Fishburne Military School senior Kuran Iverson was selected to the East All-Star roster for the April 13 Jordan Brand Classic prep basketball showcase.

    • Daniel Dixon: Patience was his virtue
      Daniel Dixon: Patience was his virtue

      Daniel Dixon had D2 offers coming out of high school, but after holding his own in a series of high-school all-star games, he decided that he wanted to invest in himself, and asked his parents for their support. The 6'5" shooting guard from Great Falls, Va., made the right choice, signing with William and Mary from the CAA.

      Baltimore-area native Will Darley decided on a postgrad year four hours away at Fishburne Military School and, as fate would have it, will end up with the reward of being able to play college basketball close to home at Maryland-Baltimore County.

      Barnett Harris: A member of the Blue Hen family

      These are good days to be affiliated with Delaware basketball. The Blue Hens knocked off Virginia of the ACC on the Cavs' home court to earn a trip to Madison Square Garden for the Preseason NIT semifinals. Barnett Harris, a 6'9" forward from Monroeville, Pa., was all smiles talking about his decision to sign with Delaware to continue his basketball career.

      Kuran Iverson: Memphis-bound

      Kuran Iverson can fill a stat sheet out across the board. Memphis basketball fans look forward to seeing him fill out stat sheets as a Tiger. "It's a great day. Just signing the papers and getting that out of the way, it's a great feeling," said Iverson, a 6'10" small forward who is a consensus top-32 recruit overall and is considered one of the top five or six small forwards in the Class of 2013.

  • Ed Huckaby Jr. is the founding coach of the Fishburne Military School postgrad basketball program. Huckaby has more than 25 years of experience coaching at the high school and college levels. Twenty-two student-athletes have worked under Huckaby to reach the professional level (including four NBA players).
